About Dehlvi Sinus I Capsules

Dehlvi Sinus I Capsules is an Unani herbal medication that caters to the treatment of Sinusitis. Sinusitis is an inflammation of the nasal sinuses that accompanies the upper respiratory infection. More than 50% of all cases of sinusitis are caused by bacteria. The sinuses affected by this infection include those above the eyes, inside each cheekbone, behind the bridge of the nose and in the upper nose. 

It may be a complication of an upper respiratory infection, dental infection, allergy, a change in atmosphere, as in air travel or underwater swimming, or a defect of the nose. With the swelling of nasal mucus membranes, the openings from sinuses to the nose may be blocked, causing pressure, pain, headache, fever, and local tenderness. Complications include the spread of infection to bone, brain, or meninges. 

Depending upon the location of the affected sinus, there may be eye pain and inflammation. Sinus-I contains ingredients that are effective in the treatment of sinusitis. It promotes healthy nasal, and lung passageways without causing drowsiness, lack of appetite, nervousness or stomach pain. It supports a healthy microecology in the sinuses by encouraging appropriate mucus secretions and promotes a healthy immune response

Ingredients of Dehlvi Sinus I Capsules

• Nepeta cataria (Billilotan) (165 mg)
• Iris germanica (Irsa) (165 mg)
• Lavandula stoechas (Dharu) (170 mg) 

Dosage of Dehlvi Sinus I Capsules

• To be given 1 cap twice in a day with water.

Precautions of Dehlvi Sinus I Capsules

• Avoiding exposure to cigarette smoke, identifying and treating allergies, and avoiding deep dives in swimming pools may help prevent sinus infections. 
• Inhaling steam, regularly, will help relieve the drainage secretion. 
• The body requires plenty of liquids, to increase its moisture levels, and rest and relaxation. 
• Drink a lot of fluids, such as water, vitamin-C-rich fruit drinks etc. 
• Avoid drinks that contain caffeine, such as, coffee, tea, cola and other fizzy drinks as these are diuretics, which could cause further dehydration. 
• Eat healthy food, such as fruits and vegetables. 
• Don't drink iced drinks (including iced tea and sodas), they aggravate sinus problems. 
• Avoid anxiety and depression, and get plenty of rest. 
• Avoid dairy products, which can increase mucus. 
• Exercise outdoors to increase your circulation and clear sinus passages. 
• Keep the room temperature comfortably warm and open the bedroom window a little so fresh air can circulate.
